Binito BT-601 is a premium R2T (Reactive Resin-based) tile adhesive that meets IS Standard Type 5 S2 classification. It is specifically formulated for the most demanding tile installation requirements that offer superior performance, flexibility and chemical resistance. During challenging applications, Binito BT-601 ensures excellent bonding strength and long-term durability.

Technical Specifications

  • Pot life: 30-40 minutes
  • Coverage: 16-20 sq.ft/4kg pack- 1.5 mm bed thickness 3 mm * 3 mm notch.
  • 8-10 sq. ft/4kg 3mm bed thickness using 6mm* 6mm notch (based on surface conditions)

Recommended Applications 

  • Fixing tiles on challenging substrates such as metal, glass, PVC, or existing tiles. 

Heated floors and industrial surfaces.

  • Wet and submerged areas like swimming pools and bathrooms. 
  • Exterior facades end high-rise buildings. 
  • High-traffic areas are subjected to heavy loads and mechanical stress. 

Mixing and Applications 

  • Surface Preparation: Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease and loose particles. 
  • Mixing: Combine Part A (resin) and Part B (hardener) in the recommended ratio. Mix until a smooth, uniform consistency is achieved. 
  • Application: A notched trowel spreads the adhesive evenly on the surface. Place tiles firmly and adjust within the open time. 
  • Curing: Allow 24-48 hours for full curing before exposure to heavy loads of water. 

Packaging 

  • Available in 4 kg. (Part A- 3.600 kg and Part B 0.400kg )

Storage and Shelf Life

  • Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
  • Shelf life: 24 months in unopened packaging.Â
